Arcanum Nexus ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Arcanum Nexus.

2. Information We Collect

Arcanum Nexus does not require an Arcanum account and does not collect an email address or password.

• Private Library: Grimoire entries, Oracle conversations, Tarot readings, and sigils are stored on your device and, when available, in your private iCloud database.
• Subscription Information: Apple-signed transaction information is used to verify an active subscription. We do not receive your Apple Account email address or password.
• AI Requests: Prompts and relevant conversation context are sent to our backend and AI provider when you request an Oracle response or interpretation.
• App Integrity: Apple App Attest provides cryptographic installation and device integrity data to protect premium backend access from abuse.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve our services, such as:

• Syncing your private library across your Apple devices through iCloud.
• Verifying subscription access through StoreKit.
• Generating requested AI responses and protecting the service from fraud or abuse.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your private library is stored using Apple SwiftData and CloudKit. Private CloudKit data belongs to your iCloud account and is available only to you by default. AI requests are transmitted securely to our backend and AI provider, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share only the information necessary with Apple for subscriptions, iCloud sync, and app integrity, and with our infrastructure and AI providers to generate requested responses.

6. Your Rights

Because there is no Arcanum account, there is no account profile to delete. You can remove local app data by deleting the app and manage its iCloud data through your Apple Account settings.
